Alf Lim was born and raised in Arendal, Norway, and moved to Singapore at the age of 17 as he was awarded a government-sponsored scholarship to United World College of South East Asia (UWCSEA). After completing his International Baccalaureate at UWCSEA with three school-wide awards and in the 99th percentile, he received a full scholarship to attend New York University Abu Dhabi.

He is a graduate from NYU’s Honors College in Abu Dhabi, with a major in Economics and double minor in Psychology and Business Studies. He wrote his Bachelor’s thesis on Goal-Setting Theory and how it applies to Cooperation and Free rider’s problems in Public Goods Games.

He is a founding member of Global Citizen India, a Special Projects Lead at The Global Education & Leadership Foundation, and an organizing member of the Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2017

Alf currently resides in New Delhi, India and has worked and studied in Oslo, Singapore, Abu Dhabi, Shanghai, Florence, and New York City. He is an avid traveler and visited over 50 countries. His past experiences include management consulting, brand development, NGO, business development, entrepreneurship, strategy, communication and fundraising.
